Kasandra Lundquist, LCSW

Hi! I’m Kasandra and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the owner of Buffalo Wellness. My path to get here has had many twists and turns and I believe these have given me a unique perspective to help my clients on their own journey. I am passionate about helping people heal from their difficult experiences and live a more balanced life. I am IFS Level 1 trained through the IFS Institute and I have received additional training from Dick Schwartz (Founder of IFS) during a nine-day intensive IFS retreat where I was one of 18 participants chosen to attend. I am also trained in EMDR and I love combining these methods to help my clients heal all parts of themselves.

My expertise lies in providing support to individuals who have faced intense traumatic experiences. Through a collaborative and compassionate approach, I help my clients overcome their past traumas and achieve a sense of balance and empowerment in their lives. My ultimate goal is to enable them to move forward with confidence and lead fulfilling lives.

I use a trauma-informed approach, recognizing that past experiences can impact a person’s present-day functioning. I work collaboratively with my client to develop personalized treatment plans that are tailored to their specific needs and goals. Through a combination of therapy, skill-building, and support, I empower my clients to heal from their past and move forward with confidence and resilience.

I received a degree in Political Science from the University of Montana and then went on to be an AmeriCorps VISTA for two years. I then spent the next 9 years in the hotel industry before pursuing a Psychology degree from the University of Arizona. Finally, I received a Master of Social Work from the University of Utah.

Outside of the therapy office, I enjoy skiing in the winter and playing outdoors with my partner and our two dogs. In the summer, you can find me camping in the Uintas.

I welcome individuals from all walks of life and backgrounds and I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing and growth.
